Attention Students/Parents of current Grade 12 Students,
As a school district our hope is to continue to provide students with the resources they need to be successful in the next steps of their educational journey or career path. To that end, we would like to offer current Senior students the opportunity to purchase their Chromebook and take it with them as they start the next chapter of their life.
Here are the details of our Optional Senior Chromebook Purchase Program:
Eligibility
- Must be an Alexandria Area High School Senior eligible for graduation.
- Students must have all school fees/fines paid for prior to being allowed to purchase their Chromebook.
- Students are only eligible to purchase their (1) district issued Chromebook. They are not eligible to purchase Chromebooks from other students.
Purchase Price/Process
- The purchase price shall be $50 and must be paid online.
- Once the purchase has been made, the student will receive instructions on how to officially transfer the device from Alexandria Public Schools to the student.
- Students must purchase their Chromebook prior to May 24th, 2024 to be eligible for this offer. No exceptions shall be made.
Chromebook Insurance
- If you have paid for Insurance for the 2023-24 School Year, the term will end on Friday, May 24, 2024.
- Alexandria Public Schools will not be able to provide support on these Personal Devices after May 24, 2024.
Next Steps if you would like to participate in this program:
- Choose the Cardinal Tech Gear Category on the left
- Choose the Senior Chromebook Purchase Item and complete your checkout
- Once the device is purchased, Tech Support will be in contact to assist in transferring ownership of your device.
NOTE: If you do not wish to participate in this program, your Chromebook will need to be returned by Friday, May 24th.
